| 05' ES Lancer stereo, no AUX or mp3 support, options? Posted: 12 Dec 2012 05:10 AM PST Hey dudes, so I've got an 05 Lancer with the original head unit, the system itself sounds great. The problem is It has no auxiliary input, and the hu doesn't support mp3's, so the CDs that I burn have to be audio CDs which are pretty limited to about 70mins. Not very useful when I have mixes that go well over an hour. I have a converter for the iPhone that converts the iPhones output to an FM frequency, but the quality is not that great. I was wondering if there are any options other than replacing the whole head unit, is it possible to have an AUX input installed to the original through a bit of cable work? Cheers. |
