89 sierra if the ignition module is bad will the fuel pump stop working?

I was driving my 89 sierra truck [305 engine] and it stop running about an hour later it started and ran fine for thirty minutes and stop running again , there was no spark and the fuel pump was not working , the next day the truck started and ran fine for about ten minutes and stop running again , no spark and fuel pump stop working
