95 wrangler problems?

i drive a 95 wrangler and i noticed i been having a problem on cold mornings where i would be driving down the road and the RPM goes from 2000 to 2300 and you hear it rev for a split seconds then it goes back to 2000. i checked the fluid and its perfectly normal and it dont smell burt. now on a warm day it doesnt do this at all it acts like a normal tranny. any help would be awesome thanks!!
