Yea, I'm a guy and have never had a catheter put in or taken out. Does it hurt? I am a little scared about it. I am afraid I will faint or pass out or seizure or something when they put it in and take it out. Can they knock me out with something, or put me to sleep or what????? ANy advice. Do you suggest I just take it awake or ask them to give me something. But what would they give you???? I sound ignorant, I know.
