I am a ex drug user. I have been to the hospital, and rehabs multiple times for drug abuse. I am now having a big surgery done next week but im scared. I am scared if the surgean finds out about my past drug use he wont prescribe me any pain killers for after the operations. My question is this. Will my doctor know about my past drug use from my medical charts? Or will he only know if I tell him? Thanks
