Is it possible to replace 215/50/17 rated tyres with 205/60/16 rated tyres? If yes what is the impact? |
| Posted: 24 Dec 2011 05:16 AM PST I was told to change 3 tyres of my Nissan Primera during service, as they are really old. The current fitted tyre ratings are 215/50/17 The spare tyre in the boot is brand new and its ratings is 205/60/16. Would it be possible for me to buy 3 new tyres of rating 205/60/16 and replace all the four fitted tyres with new ones. If yes what impact this will have on the MPG and handling of the car?
