So I have a friend who was diagnosed with schizophrenia cause by her long term drug use (mainly cocaine and marijuana). She was told by a psychiatrist to stay on medication and stay in treatment or she would end up homeless. She claims she quit taking her medications years ago and is fine and doesn't believe in psychiatric medication yet chain smokes and drinks 2 bottles of wine everyday. She says she is not schizophrenic she just feels people's energy really well and that her schizophrenia went away on its on. Can this happen?
