Ignition cylynder problem? |
| Posted: 15 Aug 2012 06:21 AM PDT About two years ago, My ignition cylynder locked up. I went to pepboys later that day and got it "replaced." I noticed that my old, original key for the car worked perfectly in my "new" cylynder. It did come off as fishy but what really is making me skeptical is the fact that it is locking up again. The guy at pepboys that I called earlier today seemed very defensive when asking about my previous purchase. Should I go into the service manager and demand records of the cylynder being purchased, etc.? Can cylynders really go bad after just two years of normal use? Should I put out another 350 to get it fixed, once again? Thanks in advance |
