2013 sentra cvt tansmisson jerks?

I just bought a 2013 sentra sr and it has barely 120miles on it . Ive noticed when its accerlarting that the rpm drops and picls up where it left off and you can feel when it jerks. Is that normal for a cvt transmisson to do that?
