I am 23 year old and have had thin hair right from the beginning. When I was really young, say 10-12 years old my hair were so thin one could see my scalp. Later I got my hair shaved 2 times and then my hair got a little better (you could see my scalp only when they get wet or when I apply hair oil). Now, when I reached 20, hair fall started. I have visible hair fall signs on the sides, though I have no bald patches on top. If I have had dense hair I would look like any normal guy with a few hair lost. I met a dermatologist few years back and she said that I have dormant pores which need to be opened. Is it even possible that one may have some dormant pores ? Though I have never had dense hair on my scalp. My father is 50 years old and has lost most of his hair but he had good thick hair till 35 or so. Also my brother has good hair and my cousins who have bald fathers/forefathers have a dense cap. So why that heredity thing should prove good to me alone ? Recently I lost a lot of hair to dandruff, I have used all kinds of anti-dandruff shampoos and nothing works. Should I see that dermatologist and get started with the treatment whatsoever ? Is it possible to get dense hair when I am still young ? Please help with this.
