My 50cc gilera will not stay running?

I have a 50cc gilera runner and it will not idle it will cut out after say 4 seconds if I don't throttle it which annoys me as when I'm at the lights I don't want to keep throttling it just to keep it going if anyone has a suggestion then please help and it isn't my carb just so you know thanks
