While driving on the freeway I was about to miss my exit and needed to switch lanes, a car was not letting me so I punched it to speed up. at point i heard a loud ticking noise that stopped if I let up. later on I punched it just to see if i could hear it again and I did, but I didnt let up on the gas and it lasted the same as if I did let up. almost as if the car is trying to catch up with itself.. 2003 ford escape
