I currently live in Connecticut, which I know has some of the toughest driver's laws around. I saw on the DMV's homepage that it requires "18 year old and up drivers" to take an 8-hour safety course on driving before they can get their license. Then, they contradicted themselves in another section saying that it was not necessary if I am over 18. I'd like to know, if I am 18 or older, and meet all the other requirements for a license, do I need to complete the 8-hour safe-driving course? Thanks.
