What I should do of these skin hives to get rid of it?

After having some shorts of river small fish,till yesterday the hives got only on my left hand's ring finger but today when I woke up in the morning saw that it had spread to whole of my left hand palm. It's not that severe but is a bit of itchy and uncomfortable. This of a kind happened very first time with me. So what should I do now? Should I leave it like that so by time it will get it's recovery?
