What is the best commute from Waldorf MD to Tysons Corner VA?

Relocated from NC last week, temporarily living in Waldorf until I learn the area. Additionally, any suggestions on where to live that's affordable? I have friends in Waldorf & Silver Spring but work in Tysons Corner so keep that in mind.
