| Testing car wires before installation? Posted: 09 Mar 2013 05:09 AM PST I am hardwiring my phone charger into my Camaros fuse box, I am doing this by modifying a cigarette lighter USB and then attaching it to a fuse tap which I will plug into the fuse box. My only thing is, once I am done with getting everything ready to hook up, I do not just want to plug it in, as I am worried that I may have done something wrong and I don't want to cause any problems to my car. Is there anyway I can test it before hand to make sure it works properly? Its being powered by a 12v battery (my car battery) so however I test it, it has to be with 12v. Any ideas? Thanks! |
