Can you build muscle on a weight-maintetance diet? Posted: 26 Dec 2011 01:48 AM PST It just makes sense to me that if you have a lot of bodyfat, your body could "sacrifice" some of the fat to "have room" to build muscle without gaining the weight, thus building muscle and losing fat at the same time without the scale going up or down? Also, couldn't something similiar be achieved by designing your weekly intake something like so; On days you lift weights you eat a calorie-surplus diet, while on days of cardio and rest you eat a calorie-deficit diet? Thanks |
