How fast will food rot in a cooler?

I want to pack chicken in my styrofoam cooler for about half a week but how fast will it rot on average? I open it about twice a day, it doesn't have any special features like latches, I fill it up with ice from the brim to the top, and the room it's in is around 29 degrees c. thanks
