Radiator coolant looks hot but is cold? Posted: 13 Sep 2012 06:07 AM PDT Hey... i have a 1993 bmw 318i 4 dr sedan with manual transmission i just bought the car recently , and had it parked over ar my aunts house, i started the car after a while took the radiator cap off , the coolant looked like it was hot ( steam coming from out of the radiator resevoir) but it was cold , (i touched the water that spilled on the side of it) and " i was like what the heck isn't it suppose to be warer or hotter than that?" coud be a sign of a head gasket , also there is some white smoke coming from thr exhaust |
