Dumb Question about Car Recalls? |
Dumb Question about Car Recalls? Posted: 29 Aug 2012 06:03 AM PDT My 2003 Honda Pilot with 190K just had a major transmission malfunction and I'm waiting on the "bad news" today. I have noticed on-line that there was a transmission recall in 2004, but I was unaware of this. I have only had the car for about 2 years, and we have it serviced regularly. http://www.automd.com/recall/campaign_c48605/ So I guess my question is, is this something I should expect Honda to pay for? My car is with my mechanic (ASE certified and all that). Should I have taken it to the dealership? Thanks! I really don't know how this stuff works. |
