| How do you get through depression in middle school? Posted: 31 Jan 2015 11:16 PM PST I currently am in the 6th grade. I had taken a large step from elementary to middle. At the beginning of the year I felt quite self concious. Later through the year I leared about 'cutting' and how it relives stress. I started it as well. It became almost immediately an addiction. I never embraced the fact that I had been depressed till one of my friends found out about my 'addiction' she immediately reported to my Mother of the issue. We talked it through, I thought I would feel better after the conversation. But instead, it barely made an affect. Once half of the school year was gone, I began to be even more depressed than I had imagined... And I am currently in the same state. How exactly do I get through this? |
